Course Content	Maintain a safe and pleasant beauty salon environment Receive clients & prepare them for beauty salon services Recommend skin care products Perform skin treatment Apply make up to enhance facial appearance Provide nail care Provide advice and promote sales of beauty care products Manage a beauty salon Packing for National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) National certificate at NVQ Level 3 in the occupation of beautician (make up) will be awarded to those who are competent in units 1+2+5+093s001Q1L3 National certificate at NVQ Level 3 in the occupation of beautician (nail care) will be awarded to those who are competent in units 1+2+6+093s001Q2L3 National certificate at NVQ Level 3 in the occupation of beautician (skin care) will be awarded to those who are competent in units 1+2+3+4+093s001Q3L3 National certificate at NVQ Level 4 in the occupation of beautician will be awarded to those who are competent in units 1+2+3+4+5+6+7- 093s001Q4L4 Record of achievement will be awarded to those who are competent in unit 8
On the job training	After the completion of theoretical training, first hand practical training would be provided at the Academy Salon and in the Majestic City Salon- dealing with a highly business and professional environment for 6 months.
